National 3 Peaks Challenge

Fri 12 - Sat 13 June 2009

Described as one of the UK’s ultimate challenges the Three Peaks requires climbers to reach the top of the three highest peaks in England, Scotland and Wales in 24 hours.

We begin with an evening ascent of Ben Nevis (1344m) before transferring to the Lake District and climbing Scafell Pike (978m) through the night. We then have an afternoon ascent of Snowdon (1085m) to complete the challenge.

Our Challenge is nothing compared to the challenge faced by so many. We do this so that those who face real life challenges may be helped in some way”.

Please give generously.

Our Challenge Climbing Team is:

Claire Watson, Les Frizzell, Peter Murphy, Dick Miller, Tracy Virgo, Wendy Robison, Julie Cornish & David Bellshaw, Neil Thompson (Driver), Ian McGeorge (Driver).
