FACT! - Firefighters Get Fitter!

Tyne & Wear Firefighters are shaping up in a bid to raise cancer awareness.
The girls from cancer charity FACT (Fighting All Cancers Together) have challenged the various watches to compete in teams against each other to find out who is the fittest.

The winning team will pick up a fantastic selection of prizes including  ............... donated by Fenwicks of Newcastle.

And who gets to choose the winners? Well, the three girls who make up FACT, Joanne Smith, Lesley Shaw and Judith Williamson will certainly be giving their opinions!

Events including rowing, running, cycling, crosstrainer and pressups will take place at FX Leisure in Gateshead.

Money raised will help distribute male cancer FACT sheets and raise awareness about men’s cancer issues. Money will also go towards providing support for cancer patients and a donation will be made to the firefighters charity
